Ingredients
  Orange 1 (Use Whole)
  Orange juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Extra)
  Egg 1
  Margarine/Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Whole wheat flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (Of Which Half Is Whole Wheat Flour)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
  Honey 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  White sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Chopped dates 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Cut orange in pieces and remove pits.
In blender put first four ingredients.
Blend 3 minutes.
Sift dry ingredients into bowl.
Mix in chopped dates.
Lightly stir in blended mixture.
Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes.
