Pear And Carrot Pecan Bran Bread

Ingredients
  Pear 250 Milliliter, pared and grated
  Grated pared carrot 60 Milliliter
  Eggs 2 Large, beaten
  Bran 250 Milliliter
  Bread flour 375 Milliliter
  Granulated sugar 125 Milliliter
  Baking powder 5 Milliliter
  Salt 3 Milliliter
  Baking soda 3 Milliliter
  Butter 60 Milliliter
  Chopped pecans 125 Milliliter
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C before baking.
2) Mix together the fruit and keep aside for 15 minutes.

MAKING
3) Sift together the dry ingredients twice.
4) Cut in butter and rub until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
5) Mix in the fruit mixture and then stir in nuts to make a batter.
6) Take an 8 1 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2" (21 x 10 x 5 cm) loaf pan; pour the batter into it and leave aside for 25 minutes.
7) Bake for 75 minutes in the preheated oven until a skewer comes out clean when inserted in center.
8) Keep aside for 10 minutes and cool thoroughly by transferring onto a cooling rack before serving.

SERVING
9) Serve with coffee or tea.
