Maple Bran Muffins

Ingredients
  Wheat bran 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Maple syrup 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Egg 1 , slightly beaten
  Vegetable oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Whole wheat flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Baking powder 3 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Nuts 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), chopped
For glaze
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Confectioners sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Maple syrup 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Combine bran, milk, and maple syrup.
Mix in egg and oil.
Combine remaining muffin ingredients.
Add maple mixture; stir until just moistened.
Spoon batter into greased muffin tins.
Bake at 400 degrees for 18-20 minutes.
Mix glaze ingredients and spread on warm muffins.
Great when served warm
