Wheat Germ Muffins

Ingredients
  All purpose flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), sifted
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Wheat germ 1 Cup (16 tbs) (From A 12-Ounce Jar)
  Egg 1 , well beaten
  Milk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted, cooled (1/2 Stick)
  Molasses 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

1. Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into medium-size bowl; stir in wheat germ.
2. Combine egg, milk, melted and cooled butter or margarine, and molasses in small bowl; add all at once to flour mixture; stir lightly just until liquid is absorbed. (Batter will be lumpy.)
3. Spoon into 12 greased medium-size muffin-pan cups, filling each 2/3 full.
4. Bake in hot oven (400°) 30 minutes, or until richly browned; remove from pan at once; serve hot with butter or margarine and your favorite jelly, jam, marmalade, or preserves.
