Prepare the biscuit mix with milk according to package directions for rolled biscuits and knead on a floured board for several minutes.
Roll out into rectangle 1/4 inch thick and spread with butter.
Sprinkle with 3/4 cup brown sugar and cinnamon.
Grease a muffin pan and sprinkle' remaining brown sugar in the cups.
Roll dough as for jelly roll and cut into 12 slices.
Place, cut side down, in muffin cups on brown sugar.
Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
Turn out of pan immediately and serve hot.
