I find that Muffin make a great snack to go along with your hot cup of coffee or tea.Eaten alone,muffin are a wonderful tasting snack. They are a snack that the kids would love you for making. A hot favorite with all age groups you are sure in for some praise.
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Cocoa powder 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Tablespoon
  Egg 1 Large
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Shed's spread country crock" 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sandwich spread 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Shed'S Spread Country Crock")
  Mini chocolate chips 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)

Preheat the oven at 400 degrees.
In large bowl combine flour, sugar, cocoa and baking powder. In medium bowl whisk egg, milk and melted spread. Pour liquid ingredients into dry. Add chocolate chips, stirring until mixed. Spoon batter evenly into 10 greased 2 inch muffin pans. Bake for 20 minutes.
Have it with hot coffee.

I have a thing for chocolate & I love to bake chocolate muffins for evenings.Muffins don't take too long to bake & eaten warm they melt in your mouth.

Great muffin recipe but I'll use butter not the artificial Shedd's Spread-nothing beats butter flavour. Shanti/Mary-Anne

Butter is great but so can using a veg oil as well. I just don't know why they have to put all those chemicals to preserve in so many of our foods. Just good REAL food not only tastes best but is best for our health-hey our grandmothers knew best! Shanti/Mary-Anne
