|Butter/Oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Honey||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), warmed|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Whole wheat flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Buttermilk/Yoghurt||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Stewed prunes||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), chopped|
Preheat oven to 400° F.
Mix shortening and honey.
Mix dry ingredients and add to the batter alternately with milk.
Fold in prunes.
Pour into greased muffin tins and bake in preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
