Bran Muffins

Ingredients
  Bran flakes cereal 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  All bran 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Buttermilk 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Scant)
  Flour 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Hot water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Molasses 2 Tablespoon
  Raisins 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Mix water with cereal.
Add rest of ingredients and stir well.
Put in muffin pans and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
These keep 6 weeks in refrigerator.
