Surprise Breakfast Puffers
|Orange marmalade||60 Milliliter (4 Tablespoon)|
|Grated orange rind||1 Teaspoon (5 Milliliter)|
|Cinnamon||1⁄4 Teaspoon (1 Milliliter)|
|Nutmeg||1⁄4 Teaspoon (1 Milliliter)|
|Butter||60 Milliliter (1/4 Cup)|
|Honey||60 Milliliter (1/4 Cup)|
|Whole wheat flour||480 Milliliter (2 Cups)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon (10 Milliliter)|
|Sea salt||1⁄2 Teaspoon (3 Milliliter)|
|Buttermilk||240 Milliliter (1 Cup)|
Combine first four ingredients; set aside.
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and honey; add eggs, one at a time, until well blended.
Gradually stir in next three ingredients; mix well.
Slowly add buttermilk.
Spoon 2 tbs batter into oiled muffin cups; add 1 tsp orange filling and fill 2/3 full with batter.
Bake in preheated oven at 400°F (205°C) for 20-25 minutes.
