Ingredients
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Bran 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Molasses 2 Tablespoon
  Soda 1 Teaspoon
  Raisins/Dates 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Egg 1
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Buttermilk/Sour milk 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
Directions

Mix butter with molasses and sugar.
Add well beaten egg, milk, salt, flour, bran, soda and floured fruit.
Bake in hot oven 15 to 20 minutes.
