Caraway Cheese Muffins
|All purpose flour||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Rye flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Shredded sharp cheddar cheese||4 Ounce|
|Caraway seed||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Paper-line 12 (2 1/2 inch) muffin cups.
Combine flours, sugar, baking powder and salt in large bowl.
Add cheese and caraway seed; toss to coat.
Combine milk, oil and egg in small bowl until blended; stir into flour mixture just until moistened.
Spoon evenly into prepared muffin cups.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Remove from pan.
Cool on wire rack about 10 minutes.
