Bacon Bran Muffins

Bacon Bran Muffins has a terrific taste. The eggs and flour gives the Bacon Bran Muffins a mouth watering taste.
Ingredients
  Whole bran cereal 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Milk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Bacon slices 5 , diced and fried (Reserve 0.25 Cup Drippings)
  Sifted all purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Egg 1 , well beaten
Directions

Mix bran and milk; let stand until milk is absorbed, about 10 minutes.
Blend flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
Mix in the bacon pieces.
Stir reserved bacon drippings into bran mixture.
Mix in egg until blended.
Turn the bran mixture over dry ingredients; stir quickly and lightly only enough to moisten ingredients.
Spoon batter equally into greased 2 1/2 inch muffin-pan wells.
Bake at 400°F about-20 minutes
