Strawberry Mousse

Ingredients
  Strawberries 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Gelatin 1 Tablespoon
  Cold water 2 Tablespoon
  Boiling water 3 Tablespoon
  Cream 1 Quart
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Wash the strawberries. Hull them and sprinkle sugar over them in a bowl. Let it be for 1 hour.

MAKING
2) Mash the strawberries and strain them through a fine sieve.
3)In a saucepan, boil water and add in the gelatine that has been soaked in cold water. Stir and dissolve the gelatine in water.
4) Remove the saucepan from heat and place it on a wider pan of ice water. Keep stirring till it begins to thicken. Fold in the whipped cream.
5)Transfer the mixture into suitable molds. Cover them and pack them in ice mixed with salt. Prepare the ice in this ratio. Salt 1 part: Ice 3 parts. Let them stand for 4 hours.

SERVING
6)Serve chilled.

TIP
You can use other fruits like raspberries or peaches or shredded pineapple too, instead of strawberries.
