Crispy Mousse Cookies
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened|
|All purpose flour||2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Savory seasonings||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon (Bake Blend)|
|Dark molasses||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Granulated sugar||1 Tablespoon|
Preheat oven to 375°.
Place butter and sugar in large mixing bowl; beat until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg.
Combine flour, baking soda and bake blend.
Beat in flour mixture alternately with molasses and coffee.
Chill dough one hour: Roll into 1 inch balls.
Dip one side in sugar; place, sugar side up, 1 inch apart on lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set.
Remove from baking sheet onto wire racks.
Store in an airtight container.
