Chocolate Mousse Au Grand Marnier
|Sweet baking chocolate||4 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Semisweet chocolate squares||4 Ounce (4 Squares, 1 Ounce Each)|
|Grand marnier/Other orange-flavored liqueur||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Whipping cream||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sifted powdered sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Combine first 3 ingredients in top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil.
Reduce heat to low; cook until chocolates melt.
Remove from heat, and cool to lukewarm.
(Mixture -will thicken and appear grainy as it cools.) Beat whipping cream until foamy; gradually add powdered sugar, beating until soft peaks form.
Gently fold about one-fourth of whipped cream mixture into chocolate mixture; fold in remaining whipped cream mixture.
Spoon into individual dishes; chill until ready to serve.
Garnish, if desired.
