Frozen Peaches And Cream Mousse
|Mashed fresh ripe peaches/2 packages, 10 ounce frozen peach slices, mashed||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Dairy sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Creme de almond liqueur/Peach brandy||3 Tablespoon|
|Vanilla ice cream||1 Quart|
Drain mashed peaches.
Combine drained peaches, sour cream, sugar and liqueur or brandy.
In large bowl stir ice cream just till softened; fold in peach mixture.
Turn into 5-cup mold.
Freeze several hours or overnight or till firm.
Unmold onto serving plate.
Let stand 15 minutes.
If desired, drizzle with additional liqueur.
Garnish with additional peach slices.
