Frozen Chocolate Mousse
|Heavy whipping cream||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Almond liqueur/Chocolate / coffee flavored liqueur||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chocolate syrup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cookie crumbs/Chopped nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (If Desired)|
Beat the whipping cream in a chilled large bowl with an electric mixer on high until stiff peaks form.
Gently pour the liqueur and chocolate syrup over the whipped cream.
Fold ingredients together using a rubber spatula to cut down vertically through the whipped cream; slide the spatula across the bottom of the bowl and up the side, turning the whipped cream over.
Rotate the bowl 1 /4 turn and repeat this down, across, and up motion.
Continue mixing in this way until ingredients are blended.
Spread whipped cream mixture into a 9 inch square, ungreased, pan.
Cover and freeze at least 4 hours.
Cut mousse into squares.
Garnish with crushed cookies.
