This molasses sauce is a lemony and tangy sauce made with the rich taste of molasses. A cooked sauce, this dessert sauce is great with brown bettys and indian puddings.
|Molasses||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Butter||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Lemon juice/Vinegar||1 Tablespoon|
1.Boil the molasses with the butter for about 5 minutes.
2.Remove from the fire and slowly stir in the lemon juice or vinegar.
3.Serve with brown Betty or Indian pudding.
