Molasses Pie

Ingredients
  Pie pastry 1
  Eggs 3
  Brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Molasses 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted
  Pecans 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to the desired temperature.

MAKING
2) Layer a 9-inch pan with pie crust.
3) Whisk eggs, sugar, molasses, salt, and butter together and cook slowly until sugar is dissolved and mixture has syrupy consistency.
4) Now add pecans and vanilla.
5) Ladle the mixture into pie crust.
6) Bake at 350°F for 40-50 minutes.

SERVING
7) Serve after cutting to desired slices.
