Pressed Molasses Spice Cookies

Ingredients
  Sifted flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Molasses 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Egg 1
Directions

Preheat oven to 375° F.
Sift flour with spices, salt, and soda.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; beat in molasses and egg.
Slowly add dry ingredients, mixing just to blend.
Press dough through cookie press in desired designs onto un-greased baking sheets, spacing cookies 1" apart.
Bake 10 minutes until firm.
Cool 2 minutes on baking sheets, then transfer to wire racks.
