|Molasses||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Ground nutmeg||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Baking soda||1 Dash|
|Eggs||2 , well beaten|
Mix molasses, butter, nutmeg, soda, and dash salt in heavy saucepan.
Bring to a boil over low heat.
Stir moderate amount of hot mixture into eggs; return to pan.
Cook and stir till thick, about 1 minute.
