Mocha Walnut Pudding
|Chocolate flavored blancmange powder||2 Ounce|
|Chopped walnuts||2 Ounce|
|Strong coffee||1⁄4 Pint|
|Fine breadcrumbs||2 Ounce|
|Halved walnuts||Cup (0 tbs) (Few Walnuts Are Required)|
Blend the blancmange powder with a little cold milk, bring rest of milk to the boil, pour over the blended blancmange powder, return to pan with sugar and coffee.
Cook until thickened.
Stir in the nuts and crumbs, then the beaten egg yolks.
Put into a pie dish.
Whip egg whites until very stiff, fold in the sugar, pile over coffee and chocolate mixture, decorate with halved walnuts and set for about 20 minutes in a slow oven (300° F.€”Gas Mark 2).
