Basic Baking Mix

  All purpose flour 10 1⁄2 Cup (168 tbs)
  Baking powder 5 Tablespoon (1/4 Cup Plus 1 Tablespoon)
  Salt 4 1⁄2 Teaspoon (1 Tablespoon Plus 1 1/2 Teaspoons)
  Shortening 2 Cup (32 tbs)

Mix flour, baking powder and salt in 4-quart bowl.
Cut in shortening until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
Cover, label and store in airtight container at room temperature no longer than 3 months.
Use Basic Baking Mix in Baking Powder Biscuits Muffins Pancakes Waffles or Granola Bread
