Basic Oats Mix

  Sifted all purpose flour 6 Cup (96 tbs)
  Baking powder 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (4 tablespoons)
  Salt 4 Teaspoon
  Shortening 1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)
  Oats 2 Cup (32 tbs), uncooked (quick / old fashioned)

1. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together into large bowl. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in oats. Store mixture in an air-tight container in a cool, dry place until ready to use.
