Basic Oats Mix
|Sifted all purpose flour||6 Cup (96 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (4 tablespoons)|
|Shortening||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)|
|Oats||2 Cup (32 tbs), uncooked (quick / old fashioned)|
1. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together into large bowl. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in oats. Store mixture in an air-tight container in a cool, dry place until ready to use.
