Ingredients
  Egg whites 2
  Cream of tartar 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Dash
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sponge cake 2
  Chocolate coated peppermint ice cream patties 2 , Coated
  Crushed peppermint stick candy 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Beat egg whites with cream of tartar, vanilla, and salt to soft peaks.
Gradually add sugar, beating to stiff peaks.
Place cake cups on cutting board; top each with ice cream patty.
Cover with meringue, spreading thicker over ice cream and thinner around cake; seal edges at bottom.
Sprinkle meringue with candy.
Bake at 500° for 2 to 3 minutes or till browned.
Serve at once.
