|Pears||1 Pound, cored, pared and quartered|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Cream de menthe||3 Tablespoon|
Place pears on rack in cooker.
Mix sugar in water until dissolved; pour over pears.
Close cover securely; put pressure control in place.
When pressure is reached, cook for 2 minutes.
Cool at once under running water.
Allow fruit to cool completely.
When pears are cold, add creme de menthe.
Serve the pears with meat or as a dessert.
