Quick Mint Patties
|Chocolate fudge flavor frosting mix||15 1⁄2 Ounce|
|Peppermint extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Melt butter or margarine with milk in top of a double boiler.
Stir in frosting mix.
Cook over rapidly boiling water 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in peppermint.
Drop from a teaspoon onto wax paper; swirl tops of candies with a spoon.
If mixture becomes too thick, add a few drops of hot water.
Cool candies until firm.
