|Green tomatoes||2 Quart, chopped (2.5 Liter)|
|Water||4 Quart (5 Liter)|
|Apples||1 Quart, chopped (1.25 Liter)|
|Suet||1⁄2 Pound, chopped (250 Grams)|
|Brown sugar||6 Cup (96 tbs) (1.5 Liter)|
|Raisins||1 Pound (500 Gram)|
|Peel||1⁄2 Pound, mixed (250 Grams)|
|Vinegar||250 Milliliter (1 Cup)|
|Cinnamon||15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)|
|Cloves||15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)|
|Nutmeg||15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)|
Add water to chopped tomatoes.
Boil gently for 1 hour.
Let stand overnight; drain.
Add next six ingredients and salt to taste.
Mix well, then boil gently for 2 hours.
Stir in spices.
Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
