Ingredients
  Venison 2 Pound
  Apples 5 Pound, washed and cored
  Suet 1⁄2 Pound
  Currants 2 Pound
  Seedless raisins 1 Pound
  Brown sugar 2 1⁄2 Pound
  Cinnamon 2 Teaspoon
  Mace 1 Teaspoon
  Allspice 1 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1 Teaspoon
  Cloves 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Cider/Grape juice, boiled 1 Quart
Directions

Cook venison.
Put meat, apples and suet through a coarse food grinder.
Combine with remaining ingredients, blending thoroughly.
Cook until apples and raisins are done.
Seal in hot jars.
Beef may be used instead of venison.
