Ingredients
  Suet 2 Pound, chopped
  Currants 4 Pound
  Seeded raisins 2 Pound
  Cinnamon 2 Tablespoon
  Allspice 2 Tablespoon
  Nutmeg 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Brown sugar 4 Pound
  Cider 4 Pint, boiled
  Canned cherries 3 Quart
  Citron peel 1⁄4 Pound
  Apples 9 Pound, chopped (24 Apples)
  Lemons 3 , juiced and grated rind
  Oranges 3 , juiced and grated rind
Directions

Wash dried fruit and combine in a large container and stir thoroughly.
Can be kept in a cool place, or bring to a boil slowly and keep in sealed fruit jars.
Candied red and green cherries add color.
