Ingredients
  Chopped green tomatoes 6 Pound, unpeeled (3 Quarts)
  Chopped pared apples 2 Quart
  Seeded raisins 1 Pound
  Grated lemon rind 4 Tablespoon
  Firmly packed brown sugar 5 Cup (80 tbs)
  Cider vinegar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Cold water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Cinnamon 1 Tablespoon
  Ground allspice 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Powdered cloves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Combine all ingredients in a large kettle.
Simmer, uncovered, about 2 1/2 hrs., or until very thick, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
Pour at once to overflowing into clean hot jars.
Adjust covers and process as in Mincemeat I.
