Mincemeat Coffee Rings

Ingredients
  Milk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), scalded
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Yeast package 20 Gram (1 Package)
  Warm water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Flour 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Bottled mincemeat 14 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Large Jar)
Directions

Mix the milk, sugar, salt and margarine in a mixing bowl and cool to lukewarm.
Dissolve the yeast in water, then stir into milk mixture.
Add the egg and 2 cups flour and beat until smooth.
Add remaining flour and blend well.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Divide into 2 parts and roll each part out on a floured surface into a rectangle.
Spread with mincemeat and roll as for jelly roll.
Place rolls in a circle in greased round 9-inch cake pans, pressing ends together.
Cut 4 slashes on top of each circle.
Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes, then cool.
Frost with confectioners' sugar frosting, if desired.
