Cherry Mincemeat Mould
|Canned pitted dark sweet cherries||1 Pound (1 Can / 2 Cups)|
|Cherry gelatin||6 Ounce (2 Packages, 3 Ounce Each)|
|Boiling water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Prepared mincemeat||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Diced apple||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Drain cherries, reserving syrup.
Cut cherries in half.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Add enough water to reserved syrup to make 1 3/4 cups; stir into gelatin; add lemon juice.
Chill till partially set; fold in cherries, mincemeat, apple, and nuts.
Pour into 6 1/2-cup mold; chill firm.
