Glazed Mincemeat Drops
|Butter/Margarine||1 Cup (16 tbs), softened|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground cinnamon||1 Teaspoon|
|Rolled oats||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Prepared mincemeat||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chopped walnuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
In large bowl of an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar until creamy; beat in eggs.
In another bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, and oats.
Gradually add to butter mixture, blending thoroughly.
Stir in mincemeat and walnuts.
Drop dough by level tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets, spacing cookies 3 inches apart.
Bake in a 400Â° oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Transfer cookies to racks.
Prepare spicy glaze and spread over tops of cookies while they're still warm; let cool completely.
