Sweet Mincemeat

We usually used to buy our sweet mincemeat. But when I finally decided to try this sweet Mincemeat recipe, I was indeed pleasantly surprised. Turned out much easier and tastier than I expected!
  Sultanas 3 Ounce (75 Gram)
  Raisins 2 Ounce (50 Gram)
  Currants 3 Ounce (75 Gram)
  Cane sugar 2 Ounce (50 Gram, Raw)
  Melted milk free margarine 2 Ounce (50 Gram)
  Chopped walnuts 1 Ounce, mixed (25 Gram)
  Allspice 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Freshly grated nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Lemon rind 1 , finely grated
  Eating apples 1 , grated
  Orange juice 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped almonds 1 Ounce, mixed (25 Gram)

Blend all ingredients in a bowl and moisten with a little orange juice €” about 2 tablespoonsful should be enough.
Store in covered jars in the fridge and use as required.
