Rice With Milk

Rice with milk is an Americanised version of an indian rice and milk dessert. Prepared with sugar, milk and cinnamon for flavor, along with rice, the rice with milk is a cooked dessert. I like to flavor this rice and milk dessert with a dash of vanilla. serve it warm on winter and chilled on summer days and enjoy!
  Uncooked rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cinnamon stick 1
  Sweetened condensed milk 14 Ounce (1 Can)
  Milk 1 Quart
  Vanilla extract 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon

Put all ingredients into a saucepan; stir.
Bring to boiling, then reduce heat to low.
Cover and cook until rice is tender, about 2 minutes; stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Remove cinnamon stick.
The dessert will be fairly runny.
Serve hot or chilled.
