Hot Milk Crepes
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|All purpose flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Icing sugar||1 (for decoration)|
Heat milk and butter or margarine in saucepan and cool slightly.
Add eggs and beat well.
Sift next 4 ingredients together and add to egg mixture.
Use small frying pan about 5 or 6 inches across.
Pour in only enough batter to coat bottom of pan thinly, tipping frying pan so that batter runs around.
Cook each side 1 minute, and turn cakes again if not sufficiently browned.
Serve rolled with jelly filling if desired, and dusted with icing sugar.
