Rice Cooked In Milk
|Rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Milk||3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs), scalded|
Wash rice thoroughly in cold water.
Place rice, milk and 1 teaspoon salt in top of double boiler, cook over boiling water about 40 minutes, or until rice is soft and milk absorbed.
This method of cooking is especially desirable for cereal for small children.
