Natural sea salt 1 Pinch ((of high quality))
Pure water 1 1/2 Liter ((of high quality))

3. Pour in the water, mix and leave overnight to soak. Tis helps to remove the phytates and make them easier to digest.

MAKING

4. After having soaked the nuts for 12 - 24 hours, they need to be rinsed very thoroughly, using fresh water, in order to get rid of all the unwanted nutrients.

5. Once nuts are cleaned well, put them into a blender. Add pure water, depending upon consistency and creaminess desired.

6. Blend well for about 2 minutes or until a uniform consistency is obtained.

7. Next, strain the mixture through a nut milk bag to remove the pulp and solids that remain after blending.

8. Finally pour the milk into a bottle that can be stored in the refridgerator.

SERVING

9. Drink the nut milk as such or use a base to make other beverages, just like you would use regular milk.

TIPS

1. You can use any nut of your choice to prepare a nut milk you like by following this recipe.

2.  You may use the nut pulp that remains after blending in other recipes like crackers etc.
