Spicy Bean Curd With Minced Beef

Ingredients
  Soft tofu 1 Pound (500 Gram, Bean Curd)
  Oil/Chili oil 3 Tablespoon
  Lean minced beef 4 Ounce (125 Gram)
  Salted black beans 1 Tablespoon, chopped
  Salted soya beans 1 Tablespoon, chopped
  Finely chopped ginger 1 Tablespoon
  Finely chopped garlic 1 Tablespoon
  Chili paste 2 Tablespoon
  Spring onions 3 , finely sliced
  Chicken stock/Beef stock 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Black soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Cornflour 2 Teaspoon, blended with water
  Powdered sichuan peppercorns/Sansho 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Cut the beancurd in 2 cm (3/4 in) dice.
Heat oil and stir fry beef and black beans for 3-4 minutes.
Add salted soya beans, ginger, garlic, chilli paste and 1/2 the spring onions.
Stir fry for another 2 minutes, then add the stock and beancurd.
Simmer for 5 minutes, season with soy sauce and salt, then thicken with cornflour.
Sprinkle with Sichuan pepper and spring onion, and serve.
