Classic Filet Mignon
|Fillet steak slices||6 (1 1/2 Inches Thick)|
|Freshly ground black pepper||To Taste|
|Butter||80 Gram (4 Tablespoons)|
1. Wrap a bacon slice around each fillet and fasten with a toothpick. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.
2. Sprinkle each side with ground black pepper and place on a broiler rack.
3. Spread each fillet with a little butter and cook under a pre-heated broiler for 6 to 8 minutes, spreading the remainder of the butter on the fillet when turned. Do not pierce the steak when turning. Season with a little salt and serve.
