Salsa Chimichurri is a sauce-like preparation which has its origins in Argentina. The Salsa Chimichurri is either served as an accompaniment or used as a marinade for certain bar-be-cue meat dishes and is hugely popular as a condiment all over South America. Basic ingredients for preparing Salsa Chimichurri are shallots, garlic, parsley, olive oil and water. The ingredients are blended in a food processor and olive oil is gradually added to it. The ingredients can be blended for a shorter or longer duration of time in order to reach the desired consistency of the sauce. Two popular Salsa Chimichurri recipes are Chimichurri Salsa Dipping and Grilled Chicken with Chimichurri Salsa.
