|Beef broth/2 cups water plus 2 beef bouillon cubes||2 Cup (32 tbs)|

|Ground pork||1⁄2 Pound|
|Ground cooked ham||1⁄4 Pound|
|Dry bread slice||2|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Canned chipotle chilies||2 , chopped|
For sauce, cook onion and garlic in hot oil in a large skillet until onion is soft.
Add remaining sauce ingredients and heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat and let simmer while preparing meatballs.
For meatballs, combine beef, pork, ham, and onion.
Tear bread into chunks and soak in milk.
Beat egg slightly and add salt, pepper, and chopped chilies.
Add egg mixture and bread-milk mixture to meat; mix well.
Form into balls about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
If desired, press a chunk of hard cooked egg into center of each meatball.
Put meatballs into simmering sauce; cover and simmer 1 hour.
