Taco Soup

Ingredients
  Lean ground beef 2 Pound
  Taco seasoning mix 1 Tablespoon (1 Envelope)
  Canned mexican corn 16 Ounce, slightly drained (2, 8 Ounce Cans)
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Canned diced tomatoes 16 Ounce, slightly drained (2, 8 Ounce Cans)
  Northern beans 35 Ounce (1 Jar, Use Randall Brand)
  Ranch dressing mix 1 Tablespoon (1 Envelope)
Directions

Brown the ground beef in a skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain.
Combine the beef, taco seasoning mix, corn, water, tomatoes, beans and ranch dressing mix in a large kettle.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Serve in individual soup bowls, sprinkled with shredded sharp Cheddar cheese and broken tortilla chips.
Top each with a dollop of sour cream if desired.
