Mexican Chicken

Ingredients
  Chicken 1
  Salad oil 2 Tablespoon
  Broiler fryer chicken 3 Pound
  Spicy sauce 7 Ounce (For Tacos, About A Bottle)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Oregano 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Instant minced garlic 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Instant minced onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Shredded cheddar cheese 2 Cup (32 tbs) (About 8 Ounce)
Directions

Heat oil in large skillet or electric frypan.
Brown chicken in oil over medium heat about 15 minutes.
Spoon off fat.
Mix Sauce ingredients; pour on chicken.
Reduce heat; cover tightly and simmer until chicken is done, about 30 minutes.
Place chicken in ungreased baking pan, 9x9x2 inches, or oven proof serving dish.
Sprinkle cheese on top.
Cover and refrigerate.
40 minutes before serving, heat oven to 400°.
Bake Mexicali Chicken covered 10 minutes.
Uncover; bake 20 minutes.
