Mexican Fruit Cake
|Dates||1⁄2 Pound, pitted|
|Dried currants||1⁄2 Pound|
|Sesame seeds||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Coconut shreds||1 Cup (16 tbs) (From 1 Coconut)|
|Sunflower seeds/Sunflower meal||1⁄2 Pound|
|Unsweetened grape juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Grind all ingredients.
Press firmly into loaf pan.
Pour small amount of grape juice over cake.
Set away for a few days, or even weeks, adding more grape juice from time to time.
Slice thin to serve.
