Sweet And Sour Eggs (Uova In Salsa Agrodolce)
|Onions||2 Small, minced|
|Salt and pepper||1|
|Chicken stock||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Wine||1 Cup (16 tbs), dry|
Soft boil the eggs.
Shell them and set aside.
Saute the onion in the butter or margarine until transparent.
Stir in the flour, salt and pepper.
Slowly add the stock, stirring constantly.
Cook over a low heat for about five minutes.
Add the cloves, bay leaf,sugar and wine and cook for about ten minutes, stirring constantly.
Add the eggs and cook for another five minutes.
