Tamale Skillet Meal

Ingredients
  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Canned beef tamales 1 Pound (In Sauce)
  Canned cream style corn 1 Pound
  Canned seasoned tomato sauce 8 Ounce
  Chili powder 1 Teaspoon
  Shredded sharp process cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sliced pitted ripe olives 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

In 10 inch skillet, cook onion in butter till tender.
Add sauce from canned tamales.
Stir in corn, tomato sauce, chili powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer uncovered 5 minutes.
Add 1/2 cup of the cheese.
Cut tamales in half lengthwise; arrange cut side up atop corn mixture.
Heat.
Trim with remaining cheese and olives
