Tasty Turkey Quesadilla
|Whole wheat tortillas||2|
|Shredded pepper jack cheese||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Cooked turkey||1 Cup (16 tbs), cut into bit sized chunks|
|Pinto beans||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Jalapeno||1 , thinly sliced|
|Green apple||1⁄2 , thinly sliced|
1. Heat tortilla to dry pan over medium heat and flip it over a few times until it is warmed thru.
2. Add 2 tbsp of cheese over the entire tortilla. On ½ of the tortilla add ½ cup of turkey, ¼ cup of pinto beans, a few jalapeno slices and 3 slices of apple (you'll love it!). Sprinkle with ¼ tsp of thyme. Add another 2 tbsp of cheese and fold tortilla on top of itself.
3. Press down with spatula and flip. Cook until cheese is melted and tortilla is heated thru. Allow a few minutes for quesadilla to cool down before slicing and enjoy!
