Tender, flaky pastry stuffed with a not-too-sweet apple-cinnamon filling makes a great dessert or breakfast treat!

Apples | 2 Cup (32 tbs) , peeled, cored, and chopped | |
Raisins/Dried cranberries | 2 Tablespoon | |
Walnuts/Pecans | 2 Tablespoon , chopped ((or nuts of your choice)) | |
All | purpose flour | |
Cinnamon | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Sugar | 5 Tablespoon , divided ((4 tablespoons for filling 1 tablespoon for topping)) | |
Butter | 1 Tablespoon , diced | |
Water | 2 Teaspoon | |
Cooking spray | 2 Dash |
GETTING READY
1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
2. On a greased baking sheet, place the pie crust.
MAKING
3. In a bowl, place together fruit, nuts, flour, cinnamon and 4 tablespoons sugar; toss to mix.
4. Spoon the nuts mixture into the center of crust and dot it with diced butter. .
5. Gently fold the crust over and seal edges of the crust using a fork.
6. Place the burrito seam side down, sprinkle crust with water and remaining sugar.
7. Bake at in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
8. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes.
SERVING
9. Cut Apple Burrito in wedges and serve as desired.
